In the world of development, technology, computerisation and industries we are not only in need of safesty signs but also need a logical course of action to maintain. Safety symbols and signs are an intricate part of or life and a thought of life without safety signs and symbols is tragic. Safety signs help us in many ways, some of them are: helps in direct our action, maintain law and order and strengthens guidelines. The structure of signs is usually divided in different categories so that it is easy to distinguish them from others. There are many types of safety signs which includes; road signs, fire signs, occupational signs and construction signs. These signs should be in a way that they convey all the instructions. Some commonly used material for these signs are aluminium or steel or wood. It is responsibility of an individual or company to put appropriate safety sign boards regarding their work so that there are no negative repercussions.

Some well known road signs are as followed no parking sign, rail way crossing, school ahead, speed limit, cautionary signs like slippery, road end etc. Then there are fire signs amongst which the most famous is the skeleton which depicts sign of danger and is generally found near electrical items, no smoking, luminous board which indicates fire exit. Construction sign includes ‘men at work’ which is generally found where the road is being reconstructed, diversion sign ahead helps in telling the two diversion of a road.
