Types of the staircase-
The term itself refers to the steps, railing and the landing all together in combination with each other to form a staircase. These staircases could also be termed as stairways, stairwell, flight of stairs or simply stairs and many more. The designing of these items could be in any format for example it could be round, straight, or may be connected with each other at certain angles. Landing is the last final step of the stairs and is the area of the floor. The special opening including the internal staircase i.e.; having an opened shaft with an indoor stairs is termed as stairwell. Stairway is nothing but the combination of the stairwell and the staircases in together.
Special staircase includes escalators and the ladders. But the alternative of the stairways are the moving sidewalks or including the elevators. Straight flights of stairs are the simplest form of these cases. Flight is termed as the uninterrupted running of the steps. But these straight flights of stairs are potentially more dangerous and risky because a fall of a person from any of the above steps of the stair is not going to be interrupted in between until the bottom of the stairs and the existence of the floor comes.
